Given the fact that each of us is on our own spiritual journey, one wonders why we have a church. Unlike some other churches, we are not here to instruct anyone in what they must believe nor to be a center for social activity. A spiritual journey is a continuing cycle which involves changing perspective, adjusting, learning, resting, and then, again, changing perspective. We hope, because we cannot know, that this cycle leads “upwards” toward more spiritual enlightenment. If we could see it, it might look like what we recognize as the DNA helix, which may simply be a physical world reflection of spiritual growth. In that part of the cycle when we are working on our new perspective, our old perspective, frame of reference and touch stones will not work properly. Changing them is a major psychological shift. When one can access the experiences of others who have made similar shifts, it helps in the process of establishing a new perspective. We come together as people of like minds (pursuing spiritual growth) and dissimilar experiences (individual paths) in support of one another’s efforts.

In an attempt to make the materials on this website more easily accessible, we will follow the following pattern:

Items which have been added within the last 60 days will be indicated in the Directory for a given category with a single star in parenthesis (*).  After the first 60 days, this indicator will be removed.

Items which have been materially altered will be marked with a double star in parenthesis (**) which indicator will be removed after 60 days.

A new Sharing publication is issued during the months of February, April, June, August, October and December.  The newest Sharing will remain in the category of Current Sharing until the issuance of the next Sharing.  At that time the older Sharing will be moved to the category of the Previous Sharing.  Issues of Sharing not shown as either “current” or “previous” will be added to the Library .
