Spiritual Communication

We believe that there are many ways to come to God and that all are equally valid. Therefore,

we believe that the name which is given to the Creator of the universe is irrelevant.

That name may be The Divine. The Great Spirit. Allah, God. I AM. The One, The Creator.

Yahweh, He Who Cannot be Named. etc.

The point is the connection itself rather than the label one puts on the other

end of the connection. To go a step further. The Creator is beyond this

Dimension of the Pairs of Opposites and thus is neither male nor female.

Unfortunately, in our language. it is considered rude to refer to a sensate being

as "it". so we are linguistically stuck with the ongoing battle rather than the

rational solution.

The idea that we as mere mortals can conceive of or name a being

which is so far above us is ill-advised. Being able to recognize the chasm is

about the best we can do. The English language is beautiful and very effective

because of the shades of meaning which it allows its users to express;

however. it simply is not up to the task spiritually speaking. Feelings are the

true language when communicating with the Spirit. Those feelings cannot be

properly described by words. While we must use words as part of

communicating with others, we must not let them be a stumbling block to that

same communication of which they are a part.

Allowing oneself to become distracted by the name someone with

whom you are discussing spiritual matters puts on The Divine is a convenient

way to avoid the real substance. It is instructive to note that the many wars

which have been fought about this have not settled anything. It is our intention

at all times to penetrate past the name which someone uses and have an open

and honest discussion for the benefit of all concerned. This, of course, is easier

when one is not trying to convince someone else of the "correctness" of one's

own thought, but merely attempting to discern wisdom in the other which one

can adapt to one's own journey.

MOSAIC

We use a microscope to look at things so small we cannot see them with the naked eye.  We can use mosaics in the same way to look at life which is so wide-spread that we cannot encompass it within our normal vison range.  Therefore, it would seem that we are in the middle of this wonderous thing we call life –- neither the smallest nor the largest but as Goldilocks would say “just right”.   Artists inform the society.  They tell us through their creations about where humankind is and where we are headed.  Clearly, this can be quite startling for those who just “go through life” without philosophy or even very much thought.  For those who are trying to live a decent life (following the teachings of one of the Great Teachers [per Joseph Campbell]) the creations of the artists can be quite helpful.  In particular, the mosaic is notable.  Each mosaic is constructed of hundreds of small squares (or tiles) which, when put together, form a picture.   Each tile is the same as the others, yet different.  It may be a different color, or texture, and certainly, no one tile is perfect- -after all, we do live in the dimension of the pairs of opposites where perfection is impossible.  The artist uses these separate, different, yet quite similar tiles to form a picture which, to the artist, represents his or her thoughts on the matter at hand.   With our microscope we can see that each of these tiles is made up of similar yet different particles, which in turn are made of still smaller bits, all the way down to the level of the atom and beyond.   At the same time, the picture formed by the tiles may very well be part of a larger picture (for instance, a tree in a landscape) and that mosaic may be part of a series of mosaic panels creating an even more expansive vista.   That series may be part of a building which sits in a landscape, that landscape is in a political subdivision of a country, on a continent, in a hemisphere, on this planet, in this solar system, in this galaxy, in this Universe, and who knows how many other such structures in some sort of organized situation to which we have not given a name because we have no way of thinking about it.  All of the above is a very lengthy and involved way of saying that life is made up of layers.  Each of those layers has effects on its neighbors vertically and horizontally.  When thinking about the consequences of one’s actions, we have been taught to think about the ripples made by a stone tossed into a pool of water.  What about all the other pools to which that pool is connected vertically and horizontally?   It has been said that if we knew the true impact of our words we would never speak.  How much more so for our actions!!  Measured speech is important.  Considered thought is likewise.  We cannot possibly know all the consequences of our actions.  However, through considered thought- – the application of the knowledge of the mosaic of life, we can all do a better job of putting positive into the Universe and, therefore, do a better job of following the teachings of the Great Teacher which each of us has chosen to inform our lives.   If, through the use of the microscope and the mosaic we can posit the existence of creation beyond what is knowable by the human mind, the good news is that if you don’t know where you are going, you cannot get lost.

LAWS

Life has laws, which the plants, the stars and all that is alive, have to obey.

Sometimes humans try to change those rules

They beat the laws with stones and sticks and guns and even chemicals.

The unfailing result will be a rubbish heap.

What Energy decided –- we cannot change.

All the powers He bestowed on humans, have a place of their own.

Intuition comes first.

Then the twins, called Mind and Feeling.

They all have values of their own.

They cannot work alone.

The only thing that’s asked from us

is to let them work together.

Please Energy, give us insight into Your laws.

DOMAIN

Wherever a human goes or stands –-

the Universe is boundless.

And that is his domain.

But that fear!

That strangulating fear of being alone!

Not having a hold in that boundless width!

Little human,

you can destroy a body.

But your being is not to be grasped.

Human,

even, if you’re just a fluff of the Universe –-

Yet, you’re part of “IT”.

That is the ground for your daily existence.

LOOKING AND SEEING

A fish in the Ocean, looking for water . . .

Humanity in action, searching for Life . . .

They’re looking, but don’t see!                                                                                  October 27, 2024

REACHING

Sometime ago there was a saying that went:   We are all standing in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.   Mankind seems to have an inner drive that pushes him to move – preferably forward.  In the spiritual realm that means to aspire to the presence of The Divine.  Of course, lit does not require a belief in The Divine to aspire to do better, live better, and give and receive benefits from one’s fellow man – in other words, be a positive influence in the lives of others and, of course, in one’s own life.  You say tomato and I say tomawto.  Having the concept is one thing, but pursuing the goal, requires more from each of us.  If one has only one cup (the individual) full of coffee and one wants orange juice, one must discard the coffee.  Some philosophers have called this “dying to one’s self”.

No matter how one describes it, the process is not easy.  Generally speaking, the human mind fears the unknown so the angels one doesn’t know are more scarry than the devils one does know.  The knots into which we can tie ourselves over that one are truly amazing!  If one is really determined, one can become so enwrapped in these thoughts that one can actually avoid the entire subject.  Like any trap, if one knows it is there, it is much easier to avoid.  If one sincerely wants to move forward, it is important to find someone who has already made their own footprints on the path.   The sincerity of the seeker and the opening of the seeker’s own consciousness to find such a person makes the search much easier.  Often they will simply appear in one’s life – caution – they will not likely be wearing long robes and a beard.  Everyone needs someone to talk to about our spiritual journey who we feel can understand where we are and show us the light and safety of the path before us.  They do not have to be miles ahead of us, in fact, it is better that they be closer to our own developmental level, spiritually speaking, so the translation is not so difficult.   Not having surveyed everyone in the world, it is necessary to say that most people who are truly on their path are happy to share.  This sharing does not require identical approaches or beliefs, only the desire to do better.   Obviously, receipt of help or understanding from another brings with it, if accepted in the true spirit of helping one’s fellowman, the willingness to help someone else as one has been helped.  We are all bridges.  There are many examples in human history of situations where people worked together to accomplish something.  The two that jump to mind are barn-raisings where an entire community turned out and built a barn and bucket brigades where everyone handy turned to and helped put out a fire.   The spiritual side of things works the same way.  Clearly, we are all in this together, so why not help one another?  The rules for reaching seem to be – be open, be kind, be honest, and be willing to share.  More succinctly, we are all students and we are all teachers.

THOUGHTS FROM TIL

SCREAM

Dare to suffer your pain.

Taste the bitterness of inability again.

Sink into the sea of your doubts.

Stretch your hands into the gaps of your unfulfilled longings.

Dive into the fathomless blackness of your fears.

Let your fury blaze.

Scream your raging swanks from towers and roofs.

Be a human till the bottom.

Then, only, you’ll grow to your source.

It’s becoming visible in the fire of seconds, days and years and ages.

Therein, the inside – and outside, the above – and below, the front – and the backside—

all are destroyed.

Rests . . . the “PIT OF WHAT IS.”

Is there a word to describe it?

THE TARGET

As long as understanding is the target –

Our grasping is in vain.

None whatever mind is able to include,

all, what’s in “the vessel”.

When surrendering to life –

It’s streaming through us fluently.

Questions are solved in “to Be”.

Cold or hot – large either small –

It’s “to Be”, that exists.

How could the mind be still so stupid to imagine to be God?!

Only in Universal Love, we are identical.

MOLTING FEATHERS

Molting feathers is not easy.

It makes you feel sick, sad and vulnerable.

Be quiet little bird!

Inside your wings another plumage already grows!

You’ve done this job before.

Take your time and rest.

The sky and the sun are looking forward for you to come again.
